Creating A Grammar Teaching Video-A Group Project

Hi everyone!     Today, I will be sharing our grammar teaching video and grammar worksheet. I already shared my thoughts on flipped class with you, please visit my previous post if you want to check it out. However, I want to discuss it specific to grammar teaching. Grammar teaching is a time-consuming activity in the classroom. Students are generally silently sit and listen to the teacher, which is not exactly what we need in the classroom. We need learners to be active. Flipped grammar teaching paves the way for the learners to be more active and self-confident. It reduces the time spent on lecturing. I find flipped classroom beneficial specifically when teaching grammar and I'd love to use it with my students.     As for the video and worksheet, first we examined the workbook and decided on the grammar subject we want to work on. Creating a Vocabulary Teaching Video- A Group Task

 Hi everyone!     Today I will be sharing our vocabulary teaching video and interactive exercise that we created together with Oğuz and Yaren with you. This video is created to be used for a flipped class. Shortly, this video is for the students to watch before the class and after that do the exercise to reinforce the vocabulary. I think this way, learners feel ready to class, and participate more to prove that they learned the subject. Also, this is a great way to reduce the time spent on teacher's explaining the subject allowing the class to focus on using the language and practice speaking. However, some students may not watch the video and come to class leading them to feel like they're falling behind their peers.
