Book Review: Lord of the Flies

Hello everyone!                  Today, I will be talking about my wikiing task. The task includes reviewing a book, introducing it, overviewing the plot, criticizing and rating it, and asking some attention grabbing questions.                  I’ve chosen Lord of the Flies by William Golding. Lord of the Flies was very absorbing and intense. I’ve read it in 1-2 days. After finishing the book, I felt like I’ve just returned from a long and thrilling journey. Lord of the Flies is also a Nobel award-winning book. So I thought it would be nice to recommend this book to my friends.                 I generally don’t like reviewing books and analyzing them. PODCASTING The Strangest Story Ever- A Traumatic Proposal

I struggled a lot at this phase but in the end, I came up with a story idea summarizing all stories I created before. I wrote it down and practiced it to be able to vocalize it fluently. Then I searched for some sound effects ...

Hello to all of you again!             Today, I’d like to talk about 21 st -century learning.  As we all know, education has changed dramatically with the invention of technology and the developments in this field. We have smart boards, computers, smartphones, tablets, projectors in the class thanks to the technology. With these gadgets, the methods of teaching a language have changed greatly. The way we use them also has changed over the years. We used to use them as the goal rather than a tool. Now, we use them as tools that help us to achieve our goals. The 21 st- century requires learners to be self-motivated, collaborative, adaptive, initiative, social, and creative individuals. So, teachers must be aware of this change and educate the learners accordingly even if they weren’t educated to have these skills and don’t have them. Teachers should raise awareness of globalization, health issues, entrepreneurship, en...
